The Silent Meeting

We open every workshop by writing, not talking. It gets everyone's real starting point on the table in 15 minutes — louder voices don't crowd out quieter ones, and we see what the room already knows.

5 minutes — write

Everyone answers the prompts below, at the same time, silently, in a shared doc. Short bullets are fine. Write under your own name.

10 minutes — read & comment

Read what others wrote. Drop comments, questions, and “+1”s. Surface the themes out loud at the end.

The prompts

Copy these into a shared Google Doc before the session — one line per person under each prompt. Don't edit anyone else's text; use comments.

1

Where are you with AI today?

Which AI tools do you use, and how often? (e.g. ChatGPT weekly, none yet, Cursor daily)

2

What's already working?

Where has AI saved you time or made something easier?

3

What's confusing or frustrating?

What gets in the way — trust, quality, not knowing where to start, something else?

4

One real task you'd bring to AI this week

A concrete thing from your actual job — a report, an email cycle, a bug, a design, a query.

5

What would make today a win for you?

Finish this sentence: "Today is a win if I leave able to ______."

Tip: add a per-team section

For a mixed-team workshop, add one line per team at the bottom for a shared goal — what would move the needle for that function. It makes the breakouts land faster.
